The Drempel (Cill) houses building site is situated in the inner area of the village Wieck a. Darss. The building is accessed from the adjoining road in the east. A wide terrace reaches through the houses main space from the more public easten side to the private western court, which is enclosed in northern direction by the houses ground floor extension.
The buildings outside appearance is characterized by ist steeply pitched cooper roof and its raw sawn, black timber cladding. The wood covering is placed in scales to recieve the sunlights changing expression during the day. Through its huge sliding windows on the eastern and western facade, and its wide rooflight the central area of residence is closely connected to the garden and its changing seasons.
