Besonías Almeida architects is a studio established in November 2012 and integrated by the Argentine architects María Victoria Besonías and Guillermo de Almeida.
Both have been working independently since 1975.
María Victoria Besonías was born on October 18, 1947 in Madrid, Spain.
Graduated at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires in 1975. She has been Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the Jury of the College of Architects of the Province of Buenos Aires and of the Argentine Federation of Architectural Entities. In 2012, she was distinguished by the Honorable Chamber of Senators of the Province of Buenos Aires with the Award to the Trajectory and Merit.
She has given lectures in the country and abroad: USA, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Paraguay and Mexico. He has participated in workshops in Rosario, Posadas, and Arequipa (Perú).
Guillermo de Almeida was born on November 12, 1945 in Buenos Aires.
Graduated at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires in 1975. He has been a Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires, Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Morón in Buenos Aires and a member of the Higher Council of the College of Architects of the Province of Buenos Aires. He is a member of the Jury Body of the same institution.
He has lectured in the country and abroad: Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay.
His works have been distinguished with numerous awards and exhibited in different architectural events in Argentina and abroad. They are also published in specialized media in the country, America, Europe and Asia.
