Bornstein Lyckefors arkitekter is a Gothenburg-based architectural office, which has been run by Per Bornstein, Andreas Lyckefors and Johan Olsson since 2011. At present, the agency consists of 17 employees and is situated on Hisingen. The office is working on projects for private, corporate and public sector clients. The scope ranges from architectural studies, to architecture and interior design.
With a focus on architecture, the essence of the office’s business is the design of sensorial space and the search for poetic solutions in strategic, communicative and spatial issues.
Several of the office’s work is recognized and praised both nationally and internationally. In 2017 it won the WAN Awards for “Torsby Finnskogscentrum” and was a finalist in the category Future Projects in the same competition for an ironworks museum in Fagersta. At the Swedish Association of Architects Architecture Gala 2017 the office was nominated in two categories, best interior for “Alingsås Kulturhus” and best residential architecture for “Späckhuggaren” in Kungälv.
