EL EQUIPO MAZZANTI is a studio located in Colombia with more than 25 years of experience at the national and international level in the field of architectural design. Our work is carried out horizontally with architects, urban planners, artists and sociologists among other professionals because we believe in an open and collective practice. Our work is characterized by its multidisciplinary relationship, from our profession as architects and a close and good relationship with the other disciplines both technical and required according to the project in charge. Our projects have been developed from the city level starting from a frame of reference of environment, going through partial plans and pilot projects of urban intervention. Likewise, we have developed architectural elements that clearly show the study and analysis that has been done previously for its conceptualization.
We have distinguished ourselves by the development of notable and emblematic public and private buildings in Colombia and in the world (Mexico, Chile, France and Spain). Which have been worthy of national and international recognition for their quality and representative image, and their capacity for urban and social transformation. The team is made up of various architects and professionals from other branches, which allows us to propose innovative and creative concepts. We have been winners of more than 25 architectural design competitions in Colombia for public buildings mostly, for the high quality and propositive capacity of our design team.
Our strength is the innovation and creation of unique pieces capable of generating pride and appropriation in the communities, becoming in general symbolic and emblematic buildings with the capacity to transform their environment. We have been participants in the urban transformation of cities such as Bogotá, Medellín and Barranquilla with detonating projects such as the Tercer Milenio Park, the Biblioteca Biblioteca España, the Plaza Mayor Convention Center, the Caribbean Museum and the Sports Scenarios for the South American Games. The team has managed to develop spaces and buildings according to the current conditions of life, with high levels of comfort and constructive quality. Each of our designs complies with the highest standards of sustainability and bioclimatic design. Our spaces are capable of propitiating new and adaptable forms of behavior that result in the appropriation by the communities where the buildings are inserted. For his outstanding work EL EQUIPO MAZZANTI has been the winner of important prizes, mentions and national and international architectural design competitions.
