Juri Troy’s office was founded in 2003 and looks out into the world both from Vienna and Vorarlberg yet never forgetting its roots. The intense examination of these strikingly different habitats allows for a constant back and forth where the reflection about the particular qualities and challenges becomes the central element of the architectural discourse. The main focus is a sustainable and holistic approach to architecture and the results are often sculptural structures and differentiated spatial sequences that distinguish themselves through their contextuality as well as their materials and their energy concepts.
