Sandellsandberg develops everything from urban design to furniture. The width has inspired us since the beginning and is part of our identity. We operate in a commercial world and the importance of the project’s return and profitability is considered from the first sketch.
Sandellsandberg was founded in 1995 by Thomas Sandell, Ulf Sandberg & Joakim Uebel. In 2004, the company divided into two parts – sandellsandberg and Grow; a brand development firm with approximately 70 employees, led by Joakim Uebel.
Sandellsandberg and Grow share the same premises and collaborate on everything from concept development, corporate identity, retail environments, product design, signage programs and sales processes.
Thomas Sandell, principal architect, is one of Sweden’s leading architects and designers.
Joakim Uebel, degree in law and in business economics, represents market expertise and experience in finance and is currently sandellsandberg’s chairman.
Sandellsandberg is a team of approximately 30 employees consisting of architects, interior designers, product designers and engineers. Our clients are representatives from the commercial, governmental and private sectors in Sweden and abroad. sandellsandberg is today located in Stockholm and Malmö.
Our approach can be described as direct, pragmatic, playful and uncomplicated. Close cooperation with Grow has taught us, in a tangible way, the benefits of considering a task from different perspectives – in particular, to remain open and accepting of knowledge outside our own disciplines in order to achieve the best results.
