50 Friends Restaurant

50 Friends Restaurant

Project Description

During the design process, we did something special with some of the elements featured in their previous restaurants, such as the bricks. We thought it would be interesting to create an artistic gesture with a texture that would age well, that could tell a story and that would have the appearance of an old, but contemporary Italian patio. The material transforms in accordance with light and shadow and the acoustics were also considered. We wanted to create a stony, earthy and contemporary Italian look and feel.
One of the challenges when designing this restaurant was to create a new concept derived from existing and well-known restaurants the client already had. The idea was to take the same elements and apply them in a contemporary and innovative manner. The result was an updated image for the Italian restaurant chain, with an artistic signature using the texture of bricks that exudes a particular warmth.
