Project Description
The old Carinthian house has been extensively renovated. The architect Peter Jungmann has adapted it functionally to a new use and has also created an independent annex. The new ensemble comprises four holiday apartments and forms a self-contained complex. The planning took both the overall concept and details into consideration. The main materials are larch wood, natural stone and wooden floorboards. Large window surfaces provide natural lighting and afford a panoramic view of the surroundings. A small and architecturally interesting bathing hut stands right by the lake, Weissensee, also available for booking. The harmonious building was awarded the Carinthian Wood Construction Prize in 2007, as well as the Carinthian Regional Building Prize.
