Project Description
The concept of the Alturan Eco Area pursues three main objectives: to integrate naturally into a landscape characterised by a very varied topography, for the layout of the access roads to take the contours of the site into account and for the position and height of the buildings to ensure a certain continuity with the main features of the landscape, and to offer residential space of a high standard. These are achieved through the positioning of the living spaces, through the loggias with cool verandas, by apartments that have light entering on both sides, and by reducing the energy consumption costs for the residents, whilst improving thermal comfort in winter and in summer. Spaces have been created where people can «live together». The outdoor spaces have been carefully thought out and include pedestrian paths, public lighting, the creation of a park for playing, as well as facilities that promote a special community atmosphere.
