House Bildstein

House Bildstein

Project Description

In the west of Austria, near the border to switzerland, there is the small state Vorarlberg.
The house is located above the center of the municipality Bildstein near the rhein valley. From here you have a spectacular view of the swiss alps and lake constanze.
Following the terrain profile, the house was divided into a bedroom and a living area. The entrance hall on the first floor was kept very private. The private rooms of the building owner, as well as a granny flat in the south were situated behind the gallery. The adult daughter received her own master bedroom with a private bathroom.
The stone staircase leads down to the main floor. From here the visitor opens a wonderful view of the entire rhein valley. An open living concept includes the habitats dining & living. The fireplace and the living room are located on the more private north side.
The client paid much attention on the terrace. Here is the 13m pool an absolute eye-catcher. No railing disturbs the view of the valley. The service corridor for the pool was designed that it can´t be seen while swimming: surface water and sky merge into one.
