La Sterpaia | Creativity Workshop

Project Description

In 2006 the Studio Lauria was in charge by the photographer Oliviero Toscani to develop the project of the laboratories for the Creativity workshop „La Sterpaia“. Daniele Lauria designed a prefabricated structure to be positioned in the green courtyard of the royal stables of San Rossore national park in Tuscany. The facades of this 285 m² building were covered with composite panels laminated with glass and specially made by Bencore, this special coating ensured inside a correct brightness and, in the night, make the building a kind of opalescent lantern.
