Project Description

We conceived a building with a neutral, rather than a heterogeneous aesthetic. A homogeneous white skin, like a shell, covers the exterior of the building. It is only where it bends inwards that inner yellow interstices appear, a reflection of light and warmth.
The building, with two blocks in an L-shape, joins two urban areas: the garden city with houses and a new residential area with large buildings.
Like the pivotal point of all the spaces, a large lobby of double height, with access to the children’s area and the primary zone, serves as a connection to the administration, services and patio areas.
In order to meet tight construction deadlines, we work with prefabricated structural and building systems. Precast concrete is combined with a metal structure in the lobby area, porches and changing rooms.
