Project Description
The floor plan of the Dr. Strnad-Trojan pediatric practice is clearly arranged as a cluster of treatment rooms and laboratories on one side and the waiting room on the other, with the spacious reception area located in between. The reception desk is placed in a spatially detached, coloured box, which is linked to the waiting room by means of small windows arranged at different heights.
The interior design of the pediatric practice includes attractive and child-friendly spaces with playful fittings and furniture, as well as a graphic concept which is equally exciting for kids and parents. In cooperation with a graphic designer, a palette of materials, colours, graphics and typography was developed that uses animals as ambassadors, providing the rooms with different characters. Riddles are depicted on the walls in the form of large-scale text images.
