Pernambuco House

Project Description

Four virtual axes perpendicular to the public street organize the areas of different nature within the same envelope. An empty central axis articulates two halves and a third element at the bottom of the land that delimit the back patio. On the right, the succession of three living rooms creates a single large space. The only element in this space is the stairs to the top. The openings are projected based on the insolation the privacy desired by the clients. The facades are blind practically on the sides and extremely open in front and behind.
This project is an example that the structural rationality and geometric architecture can generate diffuse spaces, integrated without monotony.
