Spectra Building

Project Description

The project is located in a residential area of the city of Cali that was developed by families with a high purchasing power in the 1960s. Due to its strategic location, this area was transformed into office buildings, corporate headquarters, and trade premises.
The investing clients, owners of a technology company called Spectra, planned the building as their headquarters, taking advantage of the commercial nature of the district, and also offering some parts of the building as offices and premises to rent.
The project is the result of the intervention into an existing structure of a house built in the 1960s, which we had to reinforce structurally to meet current regulations, whilst preserving the floor slabs.
