Project Description

The various components of the university complex, the Administration for Higher Education (PRES), the Institute of Technology (IUT), a canteen and student housing flats encircle a landscaped inner courtyard. The classic perimeter development present in Lyon is continued and interrupted only by the PRES building block jumping out above the main entrance. With its terraces and seating blocks, the courtyard is an open forum which strengthens communication between the institutions.
