In The Centre – Hotel Pupp

Project Description

The Pupp suites are the result of a competition for an important construction site in the city of Brixen – a new gateway leading into the city. The aim was to close a building gap and create 11 suites. Our idea was to interlink three structures, creating an interplay of projections and offsets. These displacements create a variety of open areas. The precisely positioned openings within the three structures make it possible to experience their interconnection in the interior. The structure is either partially or totally closed towards the city and its neighbourhood, resulting in a private building with open areas, garden and interior courtyards, illuminated from the top and flooded with light, without any distractions from the busy life outside.
