Project Description
Prague, the golden city on the Vltava River, has for a long time been considered one of the great cultural metropolises. As a lively large city in the heart of Europe, it has something to offer all holiday-makers, from a splendid old town, to a pulsating nightlife and Bohemian hospitality in restaurants and hotels, as well as interesting trip destinations to the surrounding areas.
In the centre of the city of 1000 spires lies Mosaic House, a blend of four star private and shared accommodation. Mosaic House is new and different, a special fusion of style, character, modern design, state-of-the-art green technology and international guests. The name, Mosaic House, is illustrative of the concept: just as a mosaic is composed of various coloured pieces, the name of the hotel designates a place where people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and ages can meet and interact. Furthermore, the building itself represents a mosaic, with its façade and interior décor of original mosaics. The 94 designer rooms feature modern, minimalistic chic and eco-features, some affording views over Prague’s old town. The on-site lounge bar and restaurant cater to your gastronomic needs. In the morning, a warm and hearty breakfast is offered with a daytime and evening menu including international delicacies, specialty cocktails and local Czech drinks. There is often live entertainment on the original theatre stage, such as jazz, rock, blues and groove DJs.
Owing to its central location in Nové Město, Mosaic House is the ideal starting point for all kinds of city tours. Prague’s countless historical sights are located in the city centre and within close walking distance. The city’s public transportation system is also excellent, making it easy to travel outside of the centre, for example to the hip Vinohrady district, Vyšehrad Castle area, or the Smichov neighbourhood (where the Anděl shopping centre and well-raved about restaurants and bars can be found). The concept of a mosaic is omnipresent in Mosaic House: the name, the building, and even the staff, which represent an international mix from over 15 countries. Here you can find lively and diverse activity coupled with style and design.
Using 100 percent renewable energy and biogas, in-room smart temperature control, solar panels, electric shutters, raindance showers, low flow toilets, housing the Czech Republic’s first water recycling unit with heat re-cuperation, Mosaic House is one of the greenest hotels in the world and has achieved various prominent eco awards and certifications.
