Modern architecture at the foot of an old castle: the apartment building Refugio Laudegg with its contemporary design forms a successful contrast to its twelfth-century neighbour. Through its segmented form, with various tiered building units and the use of typical local materials, it blends coherently with its surroundings. In the interior, nothing detracts from the views towards the Tyrolean mountain world: the rooms and suites have large window fronts and a modest design. The wooden walls ensure that this minimalist concept does not appear cold. The fabrics reflect the mountain world. Refugio Laudegg is a good starting point for sports activities in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region: hikes in summer to the fresh mountain streams and skiing in the vast ski resort in winter. Breakfast and dinner are served in the adjacent, traditionally designed restaurant “Rauthof”.
