Project Description
The building has been positioned on 2 meter high landscape and extended height up to the regulation limit. Its’ axis matches with the suitable solar orientation in South-East Asia by place narrow sides face the sun on the east – west. The building is used a post tension structure to form a 7.5 meter cantilever on both east and west of the building and on the west, a 4.5 meter roof overhang protects the building from direct sunlight. The exterior skin is clear glass in order to show the activities. Functions that require privacy, such as toilets are covered with an irregular brick wall clad with stone. The resulting overall aesthetic is a glass box sitting on a stone base.
