Hotel Nebesa

Hotel Nebesa

Project Description

High above the Soča valley in western Slovenia, right by the Italian border, near the Friulian town of Udine, lie the four modernly designed cottages amidst breathtaking nature. When there is good visibility, one can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountain ranges of Triglav National Park or into the Friuli region. However, first one must drive up to an altitude of 900 metres above sea level. There one reaches a small estate below the Kuk mountain, surrounded by enclosures with red and fallow deers, where one can enjoy the tranquillity of the northern Slovenian mountains, far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The modern buildings are clad with wood, in keeping with the surrounding nature. The interior is dominated by clear, sedate forms. The high pitched roof creates a special atmosphere within the living space, which can also be enjoyed in the cosy bedroom on the first floor. In the wellness center you can enjoy in panoramic saunas with full glass walls against the mountains of Triglav National Park.

Combi sauna (Finish and Climate) offers you aromatherapy, Infrared sauna offers you chromotherapy and hydrotherapy is also possible. A roofed terrace serves as an outdoor seating area, even if the mountain weather should suddenly take a turn for the worse. There are unlimited leisure and recreational possibilities. Apart from mountain climbing, walking and cycling, one can also go skiing or riding in the immediate vicinity. The sports options include kayaking and canoeing, as well as fishing, hunting and paragliding. The »Kobarid Museum« which covers the two and a half years of Soča (Isonco) front during World War I, is also an interesting place to visit. The culinary specialities of the region can be sampled at many award-winning restaurants nearby. The proximity of Italy lends itself to visiting the towns of Cividale or Udine.
